Amira: The Talking Body Clinic

(They/Them)
I am a multi-disiplinary Somatic Sexologist/ Sexological Bodyworker, Consensual Touch and Intimacy Mentor, Forrest Yoga Teacher and Myofascial Specialist with an immense passion to get you to embody and empower yourself in as many ways as possible. With a lot of extensive studies in biomechanics and anatomical studies, I have devoted my practice predominately on the prevention, rehabilitation and understanding of hyper-mobility & elastin/collagen levels within movement.

Being introduced at several establishments throughout Scotland and Britain, and opening a loving studio located in Limassol, Cyprus has allowed me to gain an invaluable amount of work experience in both teaching and bodywork. But as the saying goes, once a teacher always a student; the desire to broaden my skills is a forever flowing constant; hence the pull towards Consensual Touch and Somatic Sexology.

With every body being a different roller-coaster ride there can be no end to the thrill and love for the work I do. Even after a decade and over a thousand hours of therapeutic work with clients, there is a great need to gain and give knowledge.

Please get in touch or use my website for booking availability. To get started I recommend booking a bodywork consultation and/or a coaching call.

Lucy: Cerulean Councelling

Hi there! After struggling with my own mental health for many years and experiencing both unsuitable and truly wonderful therapists, I qualified as a cognitive behavioural therapist earlier this year.

As a practitioner, the space I provide for therapy, is confidential, safe, and accepting of all parts of you. The parts you show others, yes, but also the parts you don’t. Maybe even the parts you don’t show yourself, or you didn’t know were there. I will hold space for all of you; tears, anger, silence, shame, the feeling of being too much or not enough. There are no timelines, expectations, or judgements placed on you.

For the past two years I have volunteered as a counsellor at a local suicide crisis centre, working in person and over the phone to support people at risk through challenging mental health crises.

I have experience working with a variety of anxiety disorders (social anxiety, generalised anxiety, OCD, phobias, panic disorder and health anxiety), depression and low self esteem. However, while I understand labels and diagnoses are helpful to some people, they are not a pre-requisite to benefit from therapy.

Therapy is an opportunity to get to know yourself better, recognise patterns in your thoughts, feelings and behaviours, and unpick which parts you would like to change. The main approach I use is cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), which involves the use of frameworks or tools to evaluate your own thinking and come to your own conclusions, ideally ones that are more balanced and flexible.

After reigniting my yoga practice last year at YAMA, I look forward to contributing another therapeutic practice to the space.

If you're ready to take the first step, and think I would be a good fit, please get in touch at ceruleancounselling@gmail.com, via Instagram @cerulean_counselling, or chat to me in person at the studio.

Consensual.

Blissful.

You.
