Hello and welcome! I’m Natalie, a Vinyasa Flow and Yin teacher here at Yama.

Yoga has been part of my life for over 20 years and it brings me joy every time that I sit in a class either as teacher or student. 

I aim to create a welcoming space for everyone, and actively encourage students to connect with what they need, listen to their own energy and always give lots of options.

The yoga I teach is rooted in nature and I use the elements of earth, water, air and fire as inspiration for class.

The classes I offer at Yama are:

Saturday Morning Vinyasa Flow,
8.30am - 9.30am

A 1 hour vinyasa flow yoga class , suitable for all levels. This is a flowing practice, through different postures with meditation throughout. We will explore the elements plus special classes for the moon cycles, equinoxes and solstices.

Sunday Evening Yin,
7pm - 8pm

An hour long yin yoga class, to unwind, relax and set up for the week ahead. Yin is literally the yin to the yang of more flowing yoga practices such as vinyasa flow. Within a yin class we hold poses for longer, allowing us to engage into deeper muscle groups and our parasympathetic (rest and digest) nervous system.
